I-mitri
I-mitri sings, mixes, produces and records percussion and drums for amongst others labels including CounterAction Soundz, London based Dub Providers (Nuff Powa), Greek label THC Records as well as Bristol based Electronic/Dubstep label Urban Scrumping and has an ongoing collaboration with Manchester based Single Cell Collective. He's voiced tunes for (most notably) Pure Phase, Phaeleh, AMP, Vibronics, Eli P, Pandacub, Biscuit Tin Sound System (BTSS/8755) and CounterAction Warriors.
As a DJ/Selector he often gets the opportunity to share his love for dub music playing locally and internationally, representing the UK Dub sound system tradition. While back in Leicester he also produces and hosts the weekly radio show and occasional club-night United Nations Of Dub.
With more recent collaborations with Pandacub and Pure Phase, expect 8755 releases in 2011
Pandacub
Pandacub is a musician, producer, DJ and engineer for the Biscuit Tin Sound System. Previous projects and releases have seen him collaborate with the likes of Pure Phase and I-Mitri on some soon to be release dubwise sounds. Expect forthcoming releases on 8755 to be steeped in bass, analogue sounds and synthetics.
Pure Phase
Pure Phase are a production and performance duo from Leicester who specialise in live electronica and turnablism. Pure Phase have had their music released by Cymbalism, Full Melt, Filthy Digital and Dirty Circuit Recordings.
The past couple of years has seen them release e.p's with the Likes of Excision and Om Unit.
Most recently their music has seen them collaborate with other musicians and vocalists, including Mike Sole, Aliison Mason and I-mitri. Expect to see these recordings out on 8755 in the near future.
